Make calls from voicemail system

For the folks that have family overseas it would be a nice feature to be able to dial into your voicemail from your cell phone, and use it to call someone overseas so you're using your Ooma to place the overseas call rather than your cell phone. I don't know what it would take to do this, but it could be a really nice touch to even further separate Ooma from the competition.

Of course there would need to be some sort of protection to ensure only subscribers are using it. Maybe a limited number of cell phone numbers that are approved that you specify in the lounge?

Is there a name for this sort of calling so I can use the proper terminology?

WHile I have no idea if it is or will be possible with ooma, that type of technology does exist. i believe there is a skype gateway that you install at your hoise. You dial into it and skype then dials out for the call.
