Ooma Scout wall mount.

Ok, I wanted to put the scout on my wall and of course there is no wall mount. I was thinking about this a lot including making some type of ornate type of mount with a lot of work involved. What I did was quite easy and very inexpensive. I saw on the back of the scout there are two holes where a mount might go. I just got two small brass picture hangers that fit right in those holes and put those on the wall and hung the scout like a picture. Ta-da! works like champ. Note: I put both hangers on the wall and not attached to any cable. I had to bend the hanger just a bit to fit into the holes

Pretty cool! If you get a chance sometime, it'd be interesting to check out a picture of the Scout mounted.

Looks like someone built a mount for the Hub, but doesn't sound like it was as simple as your solution for the Scout:

Ahh, velcro. The temporary equivalent of duct tape. I think it might work well!

I think that velcro is right up there on my list of natural wonders - like teflon and Mt. Rushmore.

(OK, the natural wonders part is a joke. Anyone remember the classic 'My Fellow Americans'?)

Too bad the adhesive on most Velcro tapes is not as strong as the Velcro itself! Of course there's always Gorilla Glue....

I ended up using a long zip tie that goes around the hub and then goes through my backer board for my hub (in my wire closet). Because the hub is wedge shaped, it can't slip through the zip tie loop. Not the most elegant solution but works great for the wire closet!

It's hard to tell because of the screen names, but I am convinced that Al Borland and Tim Taylor have been posting to this forum. Arrgh, arrgh, arrgh!

Has anyone considered overclocking the hub processor and using it to control...
...well I guess my imagination was starting to get away from me.

My concern is with the router and switch. I see that you have mounted them PORT SIDE DOWN - I assume you are using some sort of plug or stopper in the unused ports to prevent data loss? And what happens when all those bits collect in the bottom of the cabinet - do you have to empty it on occasion?
