Ooma and ADT/Ademco LYXNXR
I have ADT monitoring service with an ADEMCO/Honeywell LYXNXR security system. I have wired the alarm to run directly to the hub. When I test the speaker phone at the alarms base unit I get a dial tone. However, every once in a while the alarm starts to beep and I get a FC message (Failure to communicate). Do I need to add the *99 code in? If so does anyone know how to accomplish this? I tried to get some answers from ADT themselves, however, they we not very helpful.
Thanks

As far as programming the ADT panel to add dialing prefix, check this out: http://forum.doityourself.com/electroni ... l-out.html
Read the FAQ here for much info: http://forum.doityourself.com/electroni ... sting.html
Also check out my experience with *99; ended up using *70 for best results on my panel: viewtopic.php?t=8957#p62487
