Ooma hub does not work with Tomato router

Post by pelicanjoe » Thu Dec 20, 2012 2:14 pm

Hi,

I am transitioning from a D-link router to an Asus router using tomato. I go from Modem --> Router --> Ooma. When I use that setup with my D-Link DIR 655 router, everything goes well, when I exchange my D-Link with the Asus RT-N66U running Shibby Tomato firmware, the ooma device flashes red and remains red. I tried some QOS settings, but that did not seem to work.

Anybody get this to work on the ooma hub?

Thanks!

Joe

Did you restart the modem when you changed what is connected to it?
It's an absolute requirement.

All, just so not to leave you hanging on what I did. I disabled QOS. everything works fine. I ended up pulling the traffic that I wanted prioritized onto a secondary router.
