Hi there, I got a Google Voice number local to where my daughter lives near Buffalo, NY. However, when I try to forward the number to my cellphone, or home phone, I get a message that the forwarded numbers don't match the Country. Am I toast? Thanks.

inhaliburton, since you mentioned you will be keeping Ooma Premier, you can add a 2nd number to your Ooma (a US number local to your daughter). With Premier, you can do multi-ring also where when your Ooma rings, your cell would ring as well.

Can I have a phone number from the United States and Canada on the same unit?

Ooma Premier subscribers may select a virtual phone number from either the United States or Canada. So if you use your Telo in the U.S. but have friends and family in Canada, as a Premier subscriber, you may add a second number from a Canadian area code so your loved ones can reach you without paying for an international long distance call.
