Tom - if it still says 414894 for my firmware release and you put out another on 6/27, would I not see an update come through sometime? Or should I just wait for it to download on its own?

Thanks.

Having just installed a unit I've had for multiple years in the box, after 3 weeks it's at 240828, and been that way for a few days.

Any way to force this to speed up for the last ~15 versions? Is the older hardware still able to update to the newest code version? part# 110-0110-253, revision A00 - if that helps...

240828 is the latest version for a Telo 1.

Thanks, seems like it's still trying to update multiple times a day... Does it not know any better? Any real reason for me to upgrade?

The big push on the Telo 2 is the alarm system. I'm not interested since I have had an alarm system since before I ever heard of Ooma.

So this thing is still going through a reboot cycle a few times a day, and 2x yesterday dropped con-calls I was hosting (no bueno).

As I'm at the last SW version for this (old) HW - is there anyway to disable the unit from searching for an update? I'm assuming this is what's happening; the HW is seeing new SW available, tries to install, then aborts due to level, then reboots....

Or should I say screw it and just get a new unit? I'm finally happy with call quality, after suffering though a few weeks of updates....

The unit does not look for updates. When one is available the server pushes it to the Telo.

Can you test the power supply? You may have a failing power supply.
