HELP!
Same here about "connecting" issue. Tried every options stated online and on Ooma forum short of a factory reset of Telo. Bought Telo couple years ago and has been working flawlessly. Did buy the original handset that lasted only a very short time. That is, the problem with the screen corruption, inverted characters (known problems). Original set put away thereafter.

Knew about the HD2, hoping issues of past problems gone. Just got it yesterday, charged it, followed instructions to update, registered handset, voice on Telo stating its registered (however part of voice broken up) then handset showing "connecting".
Please, do push a firmware update.

I found that if the Telo power is removed for a few seconds, then restarted, that helps for me.

Been there and done that. Took batteries out of handset, unplugged Telo, etc. I have HS version 115611.
If firmware update performed, do I need the handset on with "connecting" or what?

Thanks, its processing the upgrading as I am typing this message. Registered handset and came back with an upgrade.
Will advise after 100%, so far so good.

A telo1 release fixing this issue will be pushed next month.

Having the same issue. Telo shows the new HD2 (just received today) is registered, but the handset just sits there connecting?

If I hit menu on the handset, the menu is empty.
