Porting 2 Lines from AT&T Callvantage

AT&T is dropping CallVantage in favor of U-verse, but U-verse isn't available yet in Colorado. I was bummed as I had a great deal through work. I was about to go back to Vonage when I stumbled upon ooma.
That was yesterday. Today, I'm trialing ooma to see (hear?) how it works out. So far so good. I don't see any issues porting my current lines, but maybe someone can confirm.
With Callvantage, my primary line is the one I use for my work at home office. The secondary line is our home line. I'll be subscribing to ooma Premier.
My first question. The hub sits in my home office. Having read through this forum, it looks like I want to port my Callvantage secondary line first, then once complete, port my primary line. That's like 6 weeks and will mean at least an extra months payment to AT&T. Is my understanding correct or can I fast path the ports?
My second question is, I would like my ooma primary number to be on the scout and secondary on the hub. That means, when I request my first port, it will be to the scout. Is that possible?
Thanks for enduring my long post
