I am trying to get the Google wifi setup (3 pack unit). My setup is as follows - Xfinity Cable Internet to Motorola Surfboard Modem to Ooma telephone unit to Wifi Router. This setup has been working for me for the last 10+ yrs and I currently have it working with Netgear R6250. When I try to setup the Google Wifi unit it asks for PPPoE or Static IP setting when my current router (Netgear R6250) is configured to use DHCP settings. Any suggestions/ ideas on how to get around this issue and complete setup?

Sounds like the Google WiFi is configured to use PPPoE instead of being a DHCP client.
Another possibility is that it is set to Auto and the person that wrote the auto code didn't consider all of the cases.
This is all guesswork. I've never heard of Google WiFi.

It says to connect it to your modem, not another router. Yes the Telo is a router.
If it was designed to do automatic setup it probably doesn't know what to do with a router.
Does it have an output LAN port in addition to the input wan port to connect it to a modem?
If it does, connect it to the modem and connect the Telo to its LAN port.
