Voice/Telephone enabled cable modem
I am wanting to move to cable for internet, and hopefully use my Ooma for phone service. I currently have DSL internet/phone service, with a Ooma wireless USB device which connects my Ooma to my wireless router.
On the Comcast site, it lists cable modems, with an option for "voice/telephone enabled"..
Since I can connect my Ooma to the router wirelessly, I am not sure if I need to purchase the voice/telephone enabled modem.
Can anyone tell me if I need the voice/telephone modem, or just the internet modem?

Re: Voice/Telephone enabled cable modem
The voice/telephone modem is only required if subscribing to Comcast phone services. Ooma only requires an internet connection.
