switching to verizon fios... how will telo be configured to internet router?

Have decided to "cut the cord" and am switching to verizon fios from comcast.

I do not want their TV or phone bundle as I intend to use roku for TV cable subscription.

Is it possible to use telo off of the verizon router with a FIOS standalone HSI connection

How will the telo hookup differ

Would appreciate advice concerning such a setup

You would hook up the Telo just like any other Internet device. It doesn't care what the ISP is.
