I could not find a place to post a new topic, almost ready to get rid of Ooma, this is so frustrating.
I want to know if I go to another provider for my internet, do I have to do anything to keep Ooma? I am toying with the idea of just taking internet and not the cable part. My husband recently died and I am trying to pare everything down so I can have some extra money somewhere. Is there anything I should know before I do as I am thinking?

Re: finally
Ooma will work with any terestial internet provider although DSL is so slow it can be problematic. The delays of satellite internet would be a problem.

Thanks for the reply. Good to avoid things that may seem fine when you look at the ads. We had satellite in rural Michigan before we came back to the Detroit area, definitely know what you mean there. And DSL gets to be a temptation at times, but I we are with cable.
