Ooma telo - Syfer integration

I recently added a Syfer VPN device to my home network to encrypt all my home internet traffic. My Ooma telo doesn't like this because (as has been discussed extensively on the forum) the telo doesn't like to be routed through a VPN. I can't exclude my Ooma traffic from my Syfer VPN using my Ooma's IP address because Syfer doesn't support it.
Syfer has a feature that recognizes traffic based on where the traffic is going and excludes it from the VPN if needed - it works great with Netflix, for instance. Syfer support says that they can add Ooma to the exclusion list if I can send them the "DNS domain names" that Ooma uses.
However, I used Wireshark to monitor the traffic generated by my Telo and I didn't see any DNS queries. Maybe the question I should be asking is "How can I (or my Syfer device) tell when internet traffic is coming from a Telo?"
Thanks,
John

Re: Ooma telo - Syfer integration
The Telo uses a vpn to connect to the Ooma server. It needs to bypass your vpn.
