Changing Wifi Password for OOMA?

The documentation doesn’t describe how to do this - other than to use the setup app? Is this the only way to do it?

Thanks!

Figured it out. Called OOMA and you need to connect directly to the Telo and you can make changes, etc., there. net/net, the setup app is only used for setup and not any modifications to the device - it would be nice to have the app support that in the future, but for now it works great to go directly to the device in this manner.

Very impressive set of statistics and other items that are collected there. I was surprised to see that the enhanced inbound call id was turned off as we do get caller id now.

They did encourage that you call OOMA to confirm the IP Address when you need to work with the unit if you have dynamic address assignments.

Great stuff!

IF, while you're in setup, you enable 'Advanced' > 'Remote Access' *** , you'll now be able to access these pages WITHOUT connecting a PC to the LAN port. Just enter your Telo's LAN IP into the browser instead of 'setup.ooma.com'.

*** It's probably a good idea to set a password while you are enabling 'Remote Access' in case you ever directly re-connect the Telo to the modem. Without a password, your Telo setup pages would be accessible to anyone who found it over WAN.

Thanks. I plan to make that change. It also helps to have the ability to move the OOMA to the Guest Wifi (first) and then change the Wifi password for the main SSID. Then you can log in to the OOMA through the Guest Wifi and change it back to the main SSID with the new Password.

Always learning... :-). Thanks for the help!
