Just moved and trying to re connect TELO cant stop blinking red logo
I recently moved and had to set up a comcast account. Previous residence had FIOS service
My internet connection is up and running. I connected my TELO to a modem port with a CAT 6 line and my telephone handset to the router via a telephone cable. The TELO will not stop blinking
Am I doing something wrong or has the TELO box unit gone bad
Thanks for you help

Re: Just moved and trying to re connect TELO cant stop blinking red logo
Is the Comcast box a modem or a gateway (modem and router in the same box)?
If it is a modem only one device can be connected to it and it must be power cycled if you change what is connected to it. If the modem has a battery, it must be disconnected during the power cycle.
I hope you meant that you connected the telephone handset to the Telo and not the router.
If the Comcast box is a gateway does the LAN cable go from a gateway LAN port to the Telo "To Internet" jack?

Murphy, thanks for your speedy reply
To be more clear
The coax cable coming from the wall goes to a splitter
one cable from the splitter goes to the comcast X1 box and the other to the modem
A cat 6 cable goes from the modem to the router
A cat 6 cable goes from the router to the TELO and a phone wire goes from the TELO to the wireless phone cradle

Okay, that configuration is good.
It's close to what I have. Instead of X1 I have a TiVo with a Comcast cable card.
Can a computer connected to the router access the internet?
If it can I can't think of any reason that the Telo is not going on line.
Actually you have to have a computer working or you wouldn't be able to post on here.
Is there any chance that the Telo is not set to DHCP mode?
Connect a computer to the Telo Home jack. If the computer has wireless capability, disable the wireless.

What does the opening screen show for connections?
