phone connections
New user.
I just realized I have a home base phone (which will get connected to the Ooma), 3 cordless phones, and one corded phone connected to phone jack. Am I correct in saying that all the cordless phones will work except the one corded phone???

Re: phone connections
Also, my cordless phones are not Ooma handsets, they are 'Clarity' brand/models. Does that make a difference?

Re: phone connections
Yes - I believe that is true. I am a new user as well and have been asking a similar question. What I believe, based on my investigation, is that once you switch over to ooma your phone service will be 100% VOIP so you no longer need to use your phone jacks. I have a really old set of panasonic cordless phones and they work fine with ooma.
