The site numberbarn dot com is a site that lets you buy telephone numbers, park them and later let them be ported to a carrier. You can see on their site how they work under "resources --> FAQs"

I bought a specific number with intention to port it to Ooma. However, when I submitted a porting request, it got rejected. Why? Because I didn't have an account number...

However, problem is that numberbarn dot com is a web site that you log into with your email and password, they don't give you any account numbers. So I filled in something like "none". Ooma rejected my request because that wasn't a valid account number.

How can I port my numberbarn number to Ooma?

Ask numberbarn what they put in the account number field when they receive a porting request.
