Site for ooma.setup.com is not secure - Is this a problem?
My new Ooma Telo Air 2 connects to my router with an ethernet cable. However, I could not establish a wireless connection via the wireless process (connection time out; I'm sure some of my setting need to be changed.) The alternative set-up, in which I connect an ethernet cable to the Ooma home port to my laptop, appears that it will work as the set-up page does appear after I entered the IP address of 172.27.35.1. The page, though, is not secure whether I access it via Chrome, Edge or Firefox. The Ooma level 2 tech support rep said this is not an issue if I enter my router password when prompted because it's going only to the Ooma device. (again, ethernet cable connected to the laptop and wifi is turned off.) The password won't be sent over an unsecured internet connection. Is he correct? Should I be concerned? I'm reluctant to enter my wifi password into website that is not secure. Thanks.

The setup website is inside the Telo. Nothing leaves your house.
