My current number is in the final process of being ported.
When people call they are hearing a Walmart advertisement after pressing 1.
Is this part of the porting process before it gets completed?

Not sure how long it takes for them to complete the final stage of this process either.

I just had a similar issue come up. We set up our Ooma account Dec. 27, and the porting process actually went quite fast, maybe a week or 10 days. So then our account profile had the number we selected when setting up our account and the ported number. Today someone called us on our ported number and all they got was the message about pressing 1 and getting an advertisement. I checked our account profile and our ported number no longer show up. WTF!

This was temporary during the switch from old provider to Ooma.
It only happened on the day of completion.

From the request to begin the porting process to completion took 6 days including a weekend.
