Connecting Ooma Telo Air2 to exisiting home security system
Might be beating a dead horse here, but is there any guidance out there on how to get the Telo Air2 to connect with existing home security system with central monitoring station? I've tried various phone jack/ethernet jack/connectors from the Telo to the system security panel without much success. Have seen a number of posts (mostly dated) on how to change the wiring on the security system panel but not sure I'm ready to go down that road. Called Ooma support and they were not much help. My last resort is to call the Security firm and see if they have a workaround but I think their solution will be to install a cellular communication setup for $540. Was hoping to use the Telo as a VOIP communicator as our previous cable company setup used a MAT box for VOIP phone service. Ty in advance.
