I had some water pooling the HD3 handset base after a ceiling leak. This caused one of the base contacts to become corroded. I have tried to clean it up, but it developed a U-shaped pocket, with just the edges contacting the handset. It's very picky about placement now.
Wondering if anyone knows if a base is available on it's own, even if not genuine Ooma. I don't want to spend $50 for a full handset. Otherwise, I may have to solder a thin wire on "top" of the contact.
