Installing ooma hub on a wireless adapter...

The way I have my home set up, I have our cable modem and wireless router in the family room near the A/V equipment, however, I have a fax machine in the Study. Since the fax will only work when plugged into the Hub (not the scout), I was wondering if I could connect the Hub to a wireless adapter (something fast, like a wireless N gaming adapter such as this one: http://www.amazon.com/TRENDnet-Wireless ... 554&sr=8-3)

I know the standard recommended setup is to place the Hub after the cable modem and before the router, but I really don't want to install the Hub in the family room. I want it in the study with the fax machine. Also, using the RJ45/RJ11 to distribute the ooma signal is not an option for me. Has anyone tried this similar setup? Will it even work? I wanted to ask before I went out and bought the wireless adapter.

Thanks for that link! I bought the wireless adapter and hooked it up, and it works fine so far. Haven't actually tried to fax anything, but the voice calls seem to work without issues.
