Mix and match phones after the land line goes away

Can I plug both the phone line and the the other line on the back of the hub into my wall jack so I can have scouts in some rooms and regular phones without a scout in the other rooms that will talk to the hub like the hub attached phone normally does?

If you look in this thread you will see that it works. Although ooma doesn't offer it as a suggested configuration. I've had both "wall" and "phone" connected to my entire house for a month with no negative effects.

Cheers,
Scott

Thanks for the feedback. That is what I want my end state to look like. I really only need feature access in two places. The kitchen and office. All I need everywhere else is a dial tone. Looks like I can do just that. Thanks.
