Call Forwarding But Cell Phone Is Off

If you have the call forwarding feature enabled, and the cell phone is turned off, the call to the telo device does not ring the number of times you have set before going to the telo voicemail. Rather, the telo has a single abbreviated ring and the call is picked up immediately by cell's carrier and goes to the carrier's voicemail system. That's not how it should work. The telo should continue to ring and go to the telo voicemail.

In the 'My Ooma' Call Forwarding preferences, click on the gear icon for the cell phone number, and enable the "Require key press before answering forwarded calls" option. Then, cell phone users must press '1' to answer forwarded calls, but other devices can still ring, and unanswered calls go to Ooma's voicemail.
