Voicemail on Android Phones

Post by reb352 » Fri May 29, 2015 8:38 pm

I downloaded the latest version. First time user. Android 4.4.4 on S4 phone. When listening to voicemail the default is to listen thru the handset earpiece - not the speaker. When the phone is held against the ear the proximity detector closes the screen, as it should, but this action also automatically pauses the playback! Switching to the speaker (small icon upper right of the screen) is the only way to listen to the voicemail playback.

As for iOS app, no problem with this.

Hi @reb352, I am not able to reproduce this on an LG Nexus device, also running Android 4.4.4 - the voicemail continues to playback even after the screen turns off. But we will try to reproduce with a Samsung S4.
