Login Difficulty with Ooma Android Mobile App 3.8

I tried to log into the Ooma Android Mobile App (version 3.8) on two different cell phones. However, I got the same error message on both: "Unable to connect to server. Please try again later."
I waited and tried again later, but the same result. Both phones have wi-fi access.

I found out that this login issue was related to the Privacy Preferences error.

Once Customer Care re-enabled my access to the Privacy Preferences settings in My Ooma, I was again able to log in with the Ooma Mobile App.
The bug apparently occurs when the Mobile App is used to make a Privacy Preference change.
