Android app and Telo dependency?

If I configure my Ooma number to ring both the Telo and my Android App.. When my Telo is offline/unplugged, will my Android app still work? (ie will the app continue to receive call when the Telo is down) ?

I just realized I can test this myself! and it works. The app works when the Telo is down. Cool!
