Feature Request: Working Windows 10 Mobile My Ooma App

Feature Request: Working Windows 10 Mobile My Ooma App Please
Can we all get this request put into action and implementation?
Can we get some kind of estimated time frame on when implementation will occur?
An app DOES exist, but is not functional (so it seems) as I cannot login successfully.
The only reason I purchased the pro/premium/whatever plan was in order to get calls forwarded to my cell phone from home to work. I just bought a new Lumia 950xl Windows cell phone and I need an app very soon to make this happen.
I like Ooma and have recommended Ooma to my friends, but if this is going to turn into a long-term problem, then.......

With Windows phone market share languishing at about 3% there is not a lot of incentive to create an app. Any apps.

apparently you know nothing about Windows. all Windows 10 apps are universal and Windows 10 certainly isn't languishing.....it is on 270million devices and a faster growth rate than 7.

it dropped from 3% to 1.1% .... it is a dead technology.

Couple with Microsoft's anti-competitive operating system (10) .. do you think they will allow a VOIP competitor against Skype?

I am not going to judge your decision to pick a unique device; however, if Ooma is a desired application I would suggest you look at a carrier swap and move to a different device (Android/iOS) which will be properly supported.

If I were to have to make a decision using engineering resources to develop the application and support it long term, the market share isn't there to support it. If I had to pick a 3rd OS it would be blackberry since they also have an android port.

Sorry that doesn't mesh with your big dollar purchase ....

You are fortunate that you don't have the Ooma app. Have you looked at the reviews on Google Play? I've tried it several times over the past year and there are always problems. I've tried it on a Nexus 5 and Motorola Droid Turbo. It will run in the background for a day or so and I will receive calls. Then the background process dies and I no longer receive calls. Once every few months I will install the app to see if it has improved, then a few days later I uninstall it because it is not reliable. If it has poor Android reviews, it will probably have poor Windows reviews.

I don't want this to sound like a complete negative opinion of Ooma. The home phone service is excellent.

Microsoft officially release Islandwood project this August.

This project will help developper to convert any iOS app into an Unversal windows Platform.

https://developer.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/bridges
It seems it don't takes too much ressources and time.
(look in youtube, it takes 5 minutes to convert a simple app)

so now, instead saying not enough market share to justify time,
maybe it's time to say Why Not ? let's do it and port iOS to UWP.

Hope Ooma will finally do it !

Has any progress been made with this? Having an app would be extremely helpful.

There are other features that could be added to MyOoma that would benefit many more users, so I have to agree with rpiotro.
Premier Subscriber
Telo One with Four Linx Devices
Google Voice Extensions

I would also like to see a Windows 10 Mobile app. I have the 950XL (much less expensive than I-devices and android) and it is great with updates monthly. I realize that the count is much smaller but other companies have build universal apps. There are tools to build cross platform apps.

Ooma, is there any further news on this platform? Under consideration, not planned, etc.?
