Ooma mobile app or talkatone?

Since Ooma owns both can anyone explain the difference? (Assuming you have premier)
Will either or both allow calling without cell service? I frequently go places where my current provider (Sprint) has no coverage. Which is better for that situation?

Yes... Ooma is great whereas Talkatone sucks!
