Calls only connecting through mobile app

I am experiencing an issue where calls are only reaching my mobile phone even when I am at my desk and my phone is connected and not in use. When I pick up the headset, maybe about 50% of the time do I even get a ringtone. Resetting my Ooma box and the Ooma base station have not solved this issue.
