Android Kit Kat no longer supported?
I have several older Android Smartphones running Android Kit Kat v4.4.5. Prior to the last couple days they worked fine with the Ooma Home Monitoring (now called "security") app. Now all they get is a message saying they cannot connect to the server even after updating to the latest app version. Why was this support discontinued?
PS: My newer smartphone running Lollipop v 6.01 works fine with the older version of the app and the current version.

Re: Android Kit Kat no longer supported?
I'm in the same boat. I have Android 4.4.2 and its been working great with both the OOMA app and the Home Security app up for months until about a week ago. Since then when I open either app, I get the message "Connection error - Unable to connect to server. Please try again later."
The extra weird behaviour is that the Home Security app is still running in the background. I still get push notifications when a sensor triggers and when the "Mode" switches (Home, Away, Night)
