Mode Change Announcements
Please stop notifications (including on the Telo speaker) when changing modes! The ridiculous notifications ("Living Room has not detected motion for 4 hours and 30 minutes") are very annoying and meaningless. After a mode change begin notifications per the setting for the new mode but don't look back to see what the sensor was up to when in the previous mode. Of course, if a sensor is set to report immediately that it is "open" for example in the NEW mode and it is open, send a notification immediately. And if it's set to send a notification "after 10 minutes", send the notification 10 minutes after the mode change if the sensor was active at the time of the mode change. Make sense?
Re: Mode Change Announcements
there will be fixes in this area in upcoming releases
Re: Mode Change Announcements
You know sometimes I like the notification, so I know when my kids last left or came in the house. But there are times when it is annoying. Perhaps make this a configurable option?
Re: Mode Change Announcements
yes, it will be configurable
Re: Mode Change Announcements
So here's the annoying scenario.
I came home last night at 3am, before I got home I changed profile to home mode so the notifications wouldn't wake up anyone. Once I got upstairs I turned system back to night mode, well all of a sudden the system called my phone and my spouses phone to inform us of the mode change! This is exactly what I don't want to happen...
Anyway I know you said this will be fixed in upcoming release but wanted to share my experience
