Home Security Announcements over HD2 Handsets

Can a feature be added to play home security announcements over HD2 handsets in addition to (or instead of) only the Telo Base? It would be very helpful to hear announcements in a bedroom at night over a handset, instead of having announcements play only to an empty family room.

Yes, it can. For now a somewhat kludgy solution would be to put a baby monitor near the telo speaker. The Ooma HD2 also has a baby monitor option viewtopic.php?f=5&t=19933.

The Baby Monitor feature would work in a pinch if I had two HD Handsets. How can I submit a request to Ooma to add this as a product feature, where maybe the HD Handset menu had an option to enable or disable home security announcements? I believe when I searched for how to request a feature, I was pointed to the forums.

This sounds like a great feature! I have several HD2 handsets around the house and when this is implemented I will be able to hear the Home Security announcements wherever I am.
