No System Notifications

No System Notifications

My ooma has a nasty habit of going offline randomly (resolved each time by power cycling). Can go 6 months without recurring, then couple of times in a week. Typically I discovered this a day or so after not receiving any calls...

I had hoped that using the ooma Home Security app, System Notifications, I would be able to get a push notification to email or sms whenever ooma when offline. I do not have any sensors, just the home security app installed.

So far I've yet to receive ANY pushed notifications via email or sms... Should this be able to work and it's just an app setting problem, or do "system" notifications not get pushed to email/sms??

you can test by simply powering off your telo and waiting for push 5-10 min
