Second iPhone geofencing

Post by Don731 » Thu Mar 01, 2018 2:21 pm

First iPhone works perfectly with home and away geofencing. Second iPhone we set up shows state away even when home. Checked location services on that phone, all is set up correctly. Any advice?

I don't think this is peculiar to the iPhone. I'm having the same problem with my Android Samsung Note 5s. First one worked fine. Second one (same model) didn't set up until 3rd try. Now neither seems to be working away or home. They spend a lot of time in status: unknown.

This is a great idea and one I hope gets debugged pretty soon.

We also need the ability to change the labels on the icons so we can identify multiple phones of the same model numbers.

This has also caused the initial iPhone to stop responding to geofencing. Home or away state doesn’t change for either Phone regardless of location.

Opening the app on the second phone causes its state to move from home (where it actually is) to away, and it stays in away state.

Since it seems to be affecting both Android and Apple phones, which use different app modules, it must have something to do with the system itself. Any input from the Ooma tech gurus would be highly appreciated.
