1 water sensor detects water during app upgrades ?

Last night, I encountered situation whereby my 1 water sensor was repeatedly going off, detecting water, then not detecting water, then detecting water. This on/off cycle went on for about an hour.

I also noticed, coincidentally or maybe not that the OOMA Security APP on my phone had been updated too.

This is the 2nd time this has happened, about a month ago, exact same situation happened, water sensor kept going off then on then off around the same time that the app on the phone was being updated.

I do not know if the firmware on the Telo was updated at the same time or not.

Normally not a huge deal, except I have it set up so my Telo calls my cell phone when the water sensors go off... so you can imagine I wasn't very pleased to receive several false phone calls at 2am!!!

And no, there was not a single drop of water on the sensor and the whole room was dry

Im thinking the sensor may be defective. I got a water notification again last night...

Also, the battery status for the sensor says unknown...
