Sensor keep-alive interval
I've noticed that the keep-alive interval for the motion detectors is 10 minutes but for some reason the keep-alive interval for door and window sensors is 5 minutes 40 seconds. Perhaps this is why the batteries only last 9 months. Why not increase the keep-alive on the door and window sensors?
For those of you not familiar with the keep-alive function, each sensor reports its status to the Telo after a set time interval known as the keep-alive interval. If the Telo doesn't get this signal after so many minutes (currently about 20) it changes the status of that sensor to "disconnected". Of course, if the sensors status changes, it reports in immediately.

Re: Sensor keep-alive interval
Hello thomasm, thanks for sharing your thoughts. We've already looked at making this change and the work to do something similar to this is in the queue. Thanks for the positive reinforcement
