Random disconnects for Vtech Garage sensor

Hello

I have Vtech Garage Door Sensor paired with Ooma Telo.

I have searched the forums and seen the FAQ here and it did not help.

Sensor is only 15 feet away from Ooma Telo but quite frequently reports as disconnected. When I open the Garage, the sensor reconnects and reports correctly that Garage is open. So the issue is Garage Sensor is not able to maintain the connection all the time and disconnect alert is a nuisances.

So my question is with in the Ooma Security App (android 1.8.2(295436) is there way to disable disconnect notification for a specific sensor. If yes that would be helpful. Or any way thru website.

Or I should look into RMA and try replacing the Garage Sensor.

I don't think there is a problem with the sensor; it is an Ooma hardware or software problem. I posted a lengthier description of my findings on the garage door sensor disconnect problem to the forum this evening. It would be helpful to know if you have an older model Telo (sort of concave smooth upper surface) or the latest model (sort of convex upper surface with button indentations).
