Butterfleye starts recording after motion detected

I installed Ooma security, and for the most part I’m happy with the product. However, the Butterfleye camera detects activity, but doesn’t start recording instantly. There is about a 10 second delay before it begins to record, hence the recording doesn’t show what the detected activity was. Any ideas about what I may have missed in the setup?
