HD3/HD4 PIN Doesn't Work

Post by thomasm » Sat Mar 02, 2019 4:19 am

Even though the newest version of the APP lets you change and save it, the PIN code doesn't work if you try changing the mode using the "home security" menu on the handsets. It always says"invalid PIN".

If this is never going to work why not remove it from the menus?

The home security menu on the HD3 STILL doesn't work. If you try changing the mode all PINs entered return an "invalid pin" response. Changing the setting to allow announcements on the HD3 doesn't work either.

Why don't you either FIX this or remove this menu option?

Oh goodie now we can have 5 PIN codes (none of which work).

The HD3 still says "invalid PIN" when attempting to change modes from the home security menu.

The PIN feature is working for me now on my HD3 handsets. The log even gives a detailed description of the event.
