OOMA Home Security Android app (1.22.2) burning massive CPU/battery?

Has anyone else noticed the latest version of the app (1.22.2) is a MASSIVE CPU/battery hog? Its been running only 2 days and has accumulated 9h33m of CPU time and is the #1 battery consumer. I've turned off geofencing to see if that makes any difference.

Anybody else having this problem?

Nope, been running 1.22.2 for a while now on Samsung Note 8 with 4.4.153 kernal in Android 9. Last security patch was August 1, 2019. It seems that Geofencing has finally been fixed.
