I just got a new Samsung phone. I'm configuring the Smart Security app to have the best chance for Geofencing and Scheduling to function without issues. Notification, Permissions, Data, Storage are all set to Max or Unrestricted.
Now the tricky part, I can configure the app to do one and only one of the following:
1. Settings/Device Care/Battery/Background Usage Limits/Never Auto Sleeping Apps/Smart Security
2. Settings/Apps/Smart Security/Battery Unrestricted
Which would you choose?
Samsung will not permit both.
One explanation was one of them was Samsung and the other was Android.

The exact Android menus available may depend on the version, but it looks like Ooma's Smart Security support site recommends the first option, (along with a couple of others). But if there are no better suggestions, then try that one. If that doesn't work well enough, then try the other one.
