Dumb question time: how does that post relate to the router DMZ?
Routers have firewalls. Some more restrictive than others.
Putting the Telo in the routers DMZ puts it directly onto the internet with no restrictions.

EFlores, moved your telo as well although the symptoms you describe may require a different remedy.

I see you have IFTTT enabled. That service is not yet available on the East Coast server.

Not Yet. This is done gradually, state by state. Went ahead and moved both of your boxes.

Tom B,
I've had a substantial delay for about a year now. Despite that, I recommended Ooma to new user "Danyvindez".
She purchased a Telo despite the difficulty she and I had when talking to each other via my Ooma

Now she has the same delay with her Ooma

Does this "Server Fix" somehow relate to us here in Los Angeles?

thank you for any information
