Re: Everyone is telling me my Voice is Breaking Up
We need to know more information:
Is your setup modem-->ooma--> router?
or
modem-->router-->ooma?
If you could run a voip test at http://www.whichvoip.com/voip/speed_test/ppspeed.html
and post the results here.

Re: Everyone is telling me my Voice is Breaking Up
whn,
I know that you are still having quality problems. My question is have you worked with the ooma technical support folks to determine the cause? Since you first bought your unit, they have gotten quite good at responding in just a couple of minutes - and if you follow their troubleshooting instructions, they can make most people happy. In my case, they even set up an ooma system in their lab with a number one digit off from mine to duplicate my echo problem. In the end, they took care of it and I have been completely happy. If you haven't done this, I would recommend it. This forum is great for advice and solving some problems but the tech support staff deserves a shot at your quality issue and is probably more equipped than us to rectify it.
On the other hand, and I don't want to be negative, I think we all agree that VOIP may not be the best solution for everyone. After looking at all 63 of your posts, I think you may be one of those people. Is it possible to take your unit back for a refund? Since January when you first got your unit, it has been one problem after another with an occasional "I'd buy ooma stock if they went public" and "I'll bring over 30 people", etc.
Not meant as a critisism, I just am not sure that you will ever be happy with your ooma.

Re: Everyone is telling me my Voice is Breaking Up
Upload quality of service: 56% is a problem.
Remove your ooma hub from the connection and rerun the test to see if the number changes. You will have to power cycle your cable modem since the router will now be connected directly to the cable modem. If it's still bad, you have a basic network problem that needs to be fixed.
