Everyone is telling me my Voice is Breaking Up
OOMA
The I just made another batch of "I cant hear you" calls service
Calling the 800 number and going to wait for 2 hours for help.
I going to start putting flyers around the OOMA Best Buy display about these problems.
or just a print out of this thread.

And if you read real carefully, the last person's problem was most likely the fault of his modem and now that he has a new one seems to be in good shape! Seems to me that you need to read through the posts where people are trying to help you instead of just blaming ooma!
By the way the two times I've called support, I've gotten through immediately, not sure where your 2 hours is coming from?

I am curious, if you do this, can you sue yourself for libel?whn wrote:or just a print out of this thread.
I'm not sure I see the upside, anyone? Maybe a good show on Judge Judy?

If you are not into computers and networks, then VOIP is not for you
Stop complaining about it here.

He condemned the flat Ethernet cable and installed a new one. He picked up the phone and heard the ooma tone and laughed out loud. He laughed at the dial tone too, and asked if it always sounded like that. I told him I laughed every time I didn't get a phone bill.southsound wrote:Glad to hear they got the bad modem sorted out and things are working well for you! Just curious - did any of them comment on the ooma hub?

That's OK. When he gets his pink slip from Comcast he'll be looking to cut costs without sacrificing quality. That's when he'll remember the funny little box with the flat cable, strange dialtone, and no phone bills!StevenJohn wrote:He condemned the flat Ethernet cable and installed a new one. Printing out a copy of this thread is an excellent idea. It will gain you a lot of support from people who think it is wrong for satisfied users to call you a whiner. And nobody has waited 2 hours for ooma to answer even on their worst days! Please go back to your retailer and tell them that you are incompetent and need to have your money back so you can buy something else that you don't know how to use. They might ask you to never return to the store and might even give you more than what you paid. As I said, I'm sure we could come up with more than enough to compensate the purchase if you want to just send it back to ooma. I was willing to send in $5 before but heck - why be cheap - The first $10 is on me. Please, please, please - send the unit back and go away.whn wrote:OOMA

Just my humble opinion. YMMV.
