*98 or permantent *98 has nothing to do with fax

Tom,
My audio has the delay everyone is talking about sometimes, and it is also choppy. My internet speeds are 15meg down, 2meg up. If you think it would help would you please change mine to *98 permanent? Thanks

Thanks Tom,
So far so good, seems to be not so delayed and voices seem more natural to me. I'm guessing now I shouldn't have dial *99 when faxing either.

my impression is that the more natural bit makes people notice the latency less

Ok Tom,
I called my home from work today and let me tell you the choppy audio wasn't there anymore and no delay. Before I would have choppy audio on the voice going out and on voice mail when no one answered, but today it was much better. Also when my wife would call she would be saying hello a couple of times and bam it would kick in, talking about the delay. Today I had her call me also and it was much better. Thanks again
