XC Latency Question

Post by MtView » Sun Aug 21, 2016 5:27 pm

I'm a new user and I see that the XC latency on my calls ranges between 140 and 180. Is this something I should be calling support about? I'm in the northeast and just signed on a week ago so I'm assuming that I'm on the east coast server.

Tom B, are you able to confirm that I'm on the east coast server?

Thanks!

Thanks Tom! Would you anticipate an improvement with the XC Latency, etc?

I think I just answered my own question. So far I'm seeing a big improvement in XC latency and reduction in lost packets. Thanks again.

Are accounts migrated automatically to the best server or does it have to be requested? I'm on the east coast.

Answer is both. East Coast states are moved gradually.

Being north of Watertown, NY, I'm wondering if we are on the Eastern server. My wife continues to complain about the latency while using our Ooma phone.

Thanks Tom
