I have the same problem as "all the incoming calls on my ooma telo ring, but for half there is no audio from the incoming caller. some calls go through to voicemail, some don't". Also outgoing calls take a very long time to connect. I log into OOMA and it appeared I have the latest software setting you recommended but the issue continues. Any idea?

UPDATE.
The problem we were experiencing seems to have been resolved. All calls we've received since getting a software update/patch to our Ooma Telo are now coming through and are audible. Our Ooma version is still 179239. Thanks to the all the Ooma techs for being patient and to the forum moderator who took action, where other fix attempts had failed. Hope everyone resolves their audio problems as Ooma is a first-rate product....when working as it should! :D

Hi Tom,

Long time happy customer here (July 2010!) that has been suffering with incoming call problems and also delays trying to make out bound calls. I just read through this thread and adjusted my QOS setting to 0/0; not sure if that's all I need to do or not. Can you check my setting to confirm? I live outside Seattle; does it make sense to switch to east coast server?

Let me know.
Thanks.

The original problem was fixed, but now my calls are randomly disconnected, usually around the 1-hour mark. What happened, Tom?

So you suddenly hear dialtone? Would need call examples.

Yes, that's right. Just straight to dial tone in the middle of the call, no click or silence before it.

Frustrating - I'm experiencing calls with no audio (like nobody is at the other end of the call), some calls just drop after a bit of time (no specific number of minutes) and up to 4-5 second delays in conversations. If updates/patches are available for an Ooma device, the customer should not have to complain about service before getting any such update or patch applied to their device.

Seriously considering a different VoIP provider with all these issues. For a service that costs more than my parents MagicJack, I have a lot more issues than they do. Starting to think that Ooma is not worth the money we paid - we get less features on the basic plan than my parents MagicJack and MORE issues ... hmmmm.
