Maybe all the admins left because they tired of moving people to the east coast server. :)
Don't know what the deal is with the east coast server, but I am on the west coast and seem to be constantly in half-duplex. Thinking I should tell friends and associates we need to start saying "over" after each phrase. Can I get on a full-duplex server? Latency to AT&T server in NY is 83 ms, versus Century Link Seattle 17 ms. Don't know why this should case half-duplex effect.

How do I find out which server I am connected to? And which is best for me?

If you are west of the center of the country you should be on the west coast server.
If you are east of the center of the country you should be on the east coast server.

Only an Ooma employee can determine which server you are using.

Can we please be moved to the East Coast Server? We've had Ooma for years and the last few months have been frustrating since our service has been so bad. We can rarely hold a conversation on our line. We also have 4 of the HD Ooma phones.

Having delay/echo issues here for months - since my mom died a week ago I have to make lots of phone calls and it's driving me crazy. I called tech support and they claim that the 'east coast/west coast server' has to do with my internet provider :/
He supposedly changed something with the bandwidth - will give it a few calls, but now it takes over 10 seconds from the time I finish dialing until it starts 'ringing' to the other person.....
Can someone check to see which server I'm on also???

Not sure which is worse the couple second delay while talking or the horrible echo of myself I hear...going with the echo. :( don't really wanna go back to Verizon, but may not have a choice if this can't be fixed.

Can I please get confirmation I'm on east coast server?

Had Ooma as a rarely used backup for some time, just now porting to make it my primary service and am having some delay/drops.

Hi. Could you move me over to the east coast server? Also, could you switch my codec to the G711 (uncompressed)?

Thanks.
