Lag in Audio

Post by superakcraig » Wed Mar 22, 2017 5:53 am

Hello,

I have been reading on the forums regarding delays in audio to and from. I was hoping "Tom" could check out my settings and verify I am on the right server and that my device firmware and settings are correct?

Thank you!

I have the same issue. Customer service tried fixing the lag issues a few times, however th equality is still poor, there is lag time and the conversation gets interrupted. I am not even using the phone anymore and I use the cellphone for calls. Not sure which server I am connected, can someone check please

You are on the west coast server unless you request to be moved to the east coast server.

Thanks Tom. So what could be another reason for the lag?

Not sure I understand what you're asking me. i tried having a phone conversation with another Ooma customer and we couldn't talk at all due to lag. When I called them back form my cell, it was a bit better, but not significant. I also tried Another number and still couldn't carry on a conversation without feeling that we speak over each other
